Location: Doncaster
Salary: £23,000 – £28,000
About the Company
At Effective Home, we are experts in installing renewable products into homes, have sustainability at heart and are passionate about making sustainable living accessible to all. And we are growing! We are now one of the leading companies in the UK delivering a range of energy efficiency and renewable measures and we are looking for people to join our incredible team.
With energy prices rising and concerns about greener energy solutions increasing, demand for efficient solutions is also increasing. Our Solar PV team is growing fast and this is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of this expansion.
Overview
If you have recently graduated with an Electrical Engineering Degree or similar, this role could be ideal for you. Focusing on organising labour and scaffolding for installations, you will be involved in the design and checking of all solar PV orders and quotes. We will give you full training so, although knowledge of solar PV would be a bonus, it isn’t essential. More important is your ability to adapt quickly to changes and to respond effectively to tight deadlines.
Supporting both the sales function and the installation team, you will be checking the requirements for installations and trouble-shooting day-to-day issues during installations. You will also be involved with ordering materials and improving the overall quote process.
Once fully trained, you will be training the technical team and giving on-site advice to engineers along with involvement in larger commercial projects.
Although this role is based at our Doncaster office, once fully competent in all aspects of the role, there may be an opportunity for an element of home working.
So if you have the relevant qualifications and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and solutions that work, we’d love to hear from you.
