Salary: £20-£22k with bonus (to be agreed)

 About the Role

Working from our Doncaster offices as part of a dynamic team, as a Virtual Whole Home Assessor, your role will be to advise and support our customers in making sustainable choices for their homes and the environment using the latest video technology. You will do this by identifying the Energy efficient products, identifying potential Grant funding schemes.

This will mean a detailed knowledge of the products, processes and building fabric will be required as well as a passion for providing the best possible Customer Experience for our customers. Don’t worry about the first bit we will give you all the training and support you need to become the experts in your field, as long as you have the general skills and attributes, we will help fill the gaps.

Your Team Manager the Virtual Home Assessor Team Manager will be there to support direct and help you with this amazing career with us. Your role is essential in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience and an effortless start to their journey in making sustainable choices.

To make sure you have the best possible appointments, they are all pre-qualified by our inhouse expert outbound team.

 Main responsibilities Virtual Whole Home Assessor:

  • Take responsibility for turning prospects in to customers, this is the beginning of the customer’s journey, and your role will be to inform and support to make the right choice for the customer and their home.
  • The role will include making and taking video calls, phone calls, e mails, texts and WhatsApp’s to specify, inform and advise the customer on the best solution, as well as addressing any questions and queries they may have
  • You may also be required to support your colleague’s customers in their absence
  • This role is pivotal to the success of our organisation in ensuring our customers have an efficient and effortless beginning to their journey of having energy efficient product / products installed in their homes
  • Your passion and drive to help your customers is paramount as well as your personal need for personal development to strive and have a knowledge base that will enable you to give the best possible advice and service
  • Accurately capturing and logging key information after every customer contact is imperative, so a great attention to detail is essential
  • Working towards daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s to ensure you are working in line with individual targets, we want you to celebrate your achievements.
  • The role and products will be varied, making it interesting and exciting.
  • You will need structure and the ability to follow Policies and Sales procedures
  • Selling Compliantly and to regulatory standards is essential
  • Communicate clearly, concisely and professionally to ensure your customers are educated to make the best possible choices for both them and their homes.
  • As a customer facing business, we need to be accessible to our customer when it is convenient for them, as such there will be a shift and rota system to include 8pm working and Saturdays

Skills and Attributes

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience of direct sales with a proven track record of high performance and achievement, in a contact centre or face to face environment or a qualified Gas engineer with sales ability or experience
  • Experience of or the ability to be able to take on technical product training to include central heating design and specification, heating and hot water products, renewable products, insulation products, manufacturer rules and regulations.
  • High awareness of the sales / selling process.
  • Strong communication style with an ability to emotionally engage and “excite” customers through the sales journey.
  • People focused and able to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience
  • Excellent listening skills & patience
  • Organised and structured in your day-to-day work

Life Assurance: Three times basic salary (on completion of probation period)

Overview:

The role is within an industry that is fast paced and continuously evolving and therefore requires you to be able to make quick changes to current processes in order to ensure the company delivers compliant information.

As ECO Submissions Administrator, your role is to review and ensure the compliance of ECO measures. This will be completed by following our validation process and utilising the guidance documents in place, alongside our CRM system to ensure accurate validation.

We are looking for someone who has a great eye for detail and is able to identify common issues as well as competently explain this in order for the error to be rectified first time. You will also need to be able to switch your focus from one set of requirements to another in order to ensure you are not requesting information that is not relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Validation of daily ECO measures to a high-level ensuring targets and quality of checks are maintained
  • Keeping up to date with latest ECO changes
  • Issuing of queries to contractors and liaising with them to ensure a swift response ready for notification to Energy Suppliers
  • Updating of CRM system to ensure accurate records are kept.

Skills/Attributes

Essential

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially excel
  • The ability to adapt to changes, especially were these effect the day to day processing of work
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good communication skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the OFGEM ECO Guidance
  • Able to work outside the stated working hours, this may include weekend working from time to time
  • Use of a previous CRM system

About the Role

As an Outbound Sales Administrator, your role at Effective Home will be to provide excellent customer service to new customers, an imperative part of driving business growth. As the starting point of a customer’s journey begins with us, we need a driven, confident individual with great communication and administrative skills. This role will require a good understanding of the products we have to offer and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scheme. Training and support for which will be delivered by the Outbound Sales Team Leader.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calling ‘warm leads’ to discuss the interest shown in the products and services we offer
  • Responding to customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Understanding the ECO Scheme and providing accurate information to customers and applying this knowledge when speaking to customers
  • Demonstrate ability and desire to meet and exceed targets
  • Develop an understanding of any new products that are introduced, developing a whole home approach to any contact with the customer
  • Updating company records through various systems to ensure accurate reporting at all levels of management
  • Diary Management- The ability to route plan and understand the different qualifications of different surveyors to give productive diaries for the field whole home assessors
